Information / Download  MRC Details  MRC Flyer   click for zoom MRC - Monitoring- und ResetController Due to its universal characteristics such as: Constructive version as PCI plug-in card   4 universal COM interfaces via USB interworking, one of these is used internally as command interface to the PC   DTMF command interface to the telephone network via a/b interface   5 programmable potential-free contacts (e.g. for „PC-RESET“ and „PC-ON/OFF“), available internally via jumper and externally via connection strips   Programmable watchdog-function   Input for voltage monitoring (ok / fail) with fixed (customer-specific) threshhold (currently 23.8 V)   optional external electric supply (6-12 V) for feeding the MRC when the PC is switched off it is possible to use the MRC in other PC-based systems and to improve their fail-safety and their ability to be remote-controlled considerably. The MRC can communicate commands / acknowledges by means of the following interfaces: USB-parallel-interface (FT245, appears in the PC as further virtual COM-interface)   a/b-interface (CMX867)   visual interface (µC-USART via connection RS232-1 with replugged Rx/Tx-jumpers)   Delivery includes operating software and a detailed description for integrating the MRC into existing application.
